Different Paths

A couple of weeks ago we went to Hardcastle Craggs, near Hebden Bridge, and did a very nice walk. While I was taking pictures I got the idea for this composite photo.

Yorkshire Sculpture Park

One of the sculptures in the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, near Wakefield. Went there yesterday, definitely worth a visit. We also saw Fields of Britain, by Anthony Gormley: 40,000 small clay figures in a big room, very impressive (not allowed to take pictures...).

Loch Etive

These are the remains of a jetty at the top of Loch Etive in Scotland. Taken in May this year.

Buenos Aires

These are two street kids in Buenos Aires. They were making good money and anybody listening without making a contribution was made aware that this was not acceptable behaviour!

Whitby Abbey

This is a more recent picture. We were in Whitby and as the skies were a dull lead grey I concentrated on the colours in the sandstone.

Ok I have found a use for this blogging thing. I'll post a picture 'every day' I was going to say, but it will be more like 'whenever I feel like it.'
